Make & Take a Rain Barrel – $70

The workshop cost includes necessary use of power tools, an Earth Minded rain barrel kit, a 55-gallon food grade plastic drum, and guided instruction on barrel construction and upkeep. This is an informative hands-on workshop that is very relaxed and casual.  You will leave with a ready to install rain barrel and confidence to be a new and informed rain barrel owner! 

A portion of the time will be dedicated to installation tips, maintenance recommendations, water uses, and other important information about your rain barrel.  Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Please Note: Painting is a fun and exciting way to personalize your rain barrel. This class will offer painting tips, but does not offer enough time for painting to be completed during the workshop.

Please join us for a presentation by ECO Center owner, Emily Ollervides. We will be learning about the habits and needs of the beautiful Eastern Bluebird. Emily will discuss how to attract bluebirds to your property, how to keep them safe and healthy through monitoring, and what housing conditions they prefer. After the presentation, we will be constructing bluebird houses for the participants to take home.

The goal of this workshop is to educate our guests and empower them to be amazing Eastern Bluebird hosts and advocates.

ECO Center presents our first annual murder mystery dinner. The theme is WILD WEST. Each guest will be assigned a character upon shortly after you purchase your ticket(s), along with pre-game information including costume recommendations.

Tickets are $50.00 per person and include appetizers, dinner, dessert, and 2 drink tickets. You must be 16 years old to attend and 21 years old to utilize the beverage tickets.

Trick or Trick with Educational Flare!

Visit several stations within the wooded trail to answer age appropriate science questions in exchange for yummy treats.  This activity will be included in the price of admission and will run from 12 pm - 2 pm..  

Wear your costumes for a discounted admission rate.

Boy and Girl Scouts get into the Fall Festival *FREE.  Just have them put on their vests/uniforms and come enjoy a day at ECO Center on us.  

*Each scout must be accompanied by a paying adult.  

ECO Center's DIY Soy Candle Making Class: 

Experience a hands-on, behind the scenes look at how to make your very own soy wax candles.  Class participants will try their hand at every step of the scented candle-making process, guided by our experienced instructor Ashlee.  

This class is intented to teach you a new hobby, give you legs to start your own side business, or to provide an enjoyable afternoon out.  

The ticket price includes:

• materials and supplies to produce two self-poured 8 oz candles with a fragrance of your choice
