Introducing a teen oriented week-long day camp experience that focuses on leadership development, professional skills, and team-building for individuals 14-16 years old.
Camp runs Monday, June 29 - Friday, July 3, 2026. On-site programming runs daily from 9:00am-3:30pm.
Programming includes age-appropriate lessons and activities overseen by trained and experienced staff and guest lecturers. Lessons are paired with outdoor investigation, critical thinking, reflection, & discussions. Participants will also have a chance to complete the daily chores and be active in tending to the farm animals and vegetable garden.
ECO Center encompasses a 4-acre woods and interpretive trail, native tall grass prairie, ample open green space, and large event barn that compliment lessons and discussions. Campers should expect to learn from camp staff and local professionals about activism, financial literacy, civic engagement, environmental stewardship and work force development.
ECO Center believes that every child is a steward of our natural resources and a leader that can succeed in the workforce. ECO Academy offers the tools to maximize this potential. We recognize that not every child is able to access this opportunity due to various challenges. Thanks to local sponsors who support our mission, we can provide youth with transporation, financial scholarships, and daily stipends as needed. Participants will be matched with sponsors on a first come first serve basis.
