We believe exposure to outdoor experiences in youth are essential to fostering a healthy relationship with the surrounding world, one that will ultimately impact their environmental choices.
Our Mission
To provide safe, fun, outdoor experiences through environmental education and hands-on learning opportunities.
About Us
ECO Center opened in 2014 from a dream shared by owner Emily Ollervides and her husband Paco.
They wanted to offer a space where local schools, families, and community members could engage in safe, educational and fun activities. Each year they have taken steps to be more self-sustaining and enjoy learning and sharing new tips for greener living.
Together they raise their two children to respect nature, learn by experience, and most importantly, have fun doing it. They share their space with their free range chickens, goats, sheep, three cats (Diego, Blue and Jack Jack) and dog Charlie.
Since 2015 the grounds and barn have been available for Private Events and Educational School Field Trips. ECO Center also offers Summer Camp sessions for children ages 4-11.
In 2017 they started Phobia Haunted Trail, which operates every October and serves as a fundraiser for their educational mission.
